Hi All! Exciting news for this summer. WSC is going to be hosting the NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program (MQP) for Pistol marksmanship this year.

The NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program is a skill development program. It has been the flagship of NRA’s training development programs since
1903.

This year we’re going to be working on Pistol Marksmanship. If some participants advance we can also work on the Defensive Pistol 1 drills.

Targets and qualification awards will be provided by the club for those who do qualify. There is no limit to the amount of tries, but you do have to follow the drill according to the NRA guide.

All calibers are welcome to be used (including 22lr).
All sights and optics are welcome to be used.
Semi-automatics and Revolvers can both be used.
Youth and Family are invited to participate.

The full Pistol Marksmanship course from Pro-Marksman to Distinguished Expert requires 470 rounds. You do not have to qualify for every stage in a single day, but you do have to qualify in order (e.g. must do pro-marksman to start marksman)

Pro-Marksman: 70 rounds
Marksman: 80 rounds
Sharpshooter: 100 rounds
Expert: 100 rounds
Distinguished Expert: 120 rounds
