This summer we have several youth and family events planned through the club. Please come out and join us for some summer shooting!

We have the following events currently scheduled with instructors on site to help improve marksmanship and safety skills.

Youth .22lr Rifle Class:

The NRA Basic Rifle Course is designed to teach students the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a rifle safely. Topics covered include rifle parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, rifle shooting fundamentals, and shooting activities. 

The course is suitable for new rifle owners or shooters. Pre-sign up and payment is required four weeks in advance of class in order to secure a spot.

Cost $15.00 which includes handbook, safety rules and completion certificate and a FREE membership to the age of 18. Students will bring their own functional .22 rifle and Hearing and Eye Protection. Ammo will be provided by WSC. Note: this is a two day class.

Dates:

1st class-June 29th Classroom & July 13th-Range.
Times for both class and range: 8:00am-4:00 pm (Break for lunch)

2nd Class: August 10th Classroom and August 17th. Range.  Times for both class and range: 8:00am-4:00 pm (Break for lunch)

Ladies-NRA First Steps Pistol Orientation. If you have been wanting to learn to shoot a handgun, this is the First Steps to take. This class is designed to provide training with one particular firearm whether you own one or not. Instructor may provide one-please mention when you call) Please bring your own functional pistol and 100 rounds of Target Ammunition and Hearing and Eye Protection. No Live Ammunition in Class. Lessons include, Pistol safety, parts and operation. Ammunition and fundamentals of pistol shooting, Introduction to benchrest position, gun cleaning, storage and more. Students will receive a handbook, safety rules and completion certificate. Pre-sign up and payment is required four weeks in advance of class in order to secure a spot.

Cost $20.00.
Dates: Two classes offered: May 25th and July 20th.

Hours 8:00 am- 11:00 am -classroom training at the Rodeo restaurant (Ramada Inn) in Williams Az.

Lunch Break- 11:00- 12:00-Meet at Williams Sportsman’s Club Range (for live
fire exercises. Directions provided in class.
